With Action with Effect you do not have to pay the charity or an agency any fees to volunteer.

Volunteers are asked to raise £2000 for their visit to India.  £1000 will go directly into the charity in order to keep the schools, leper colonies and orphanage running.

The additional £1000 will be taken by the volunteer to India and spent in areas of need.  Experience has shown that sourcing materials such as food, cloths, bed linen, mattress, toys etc. locally is better economics.

As the volunteer positions are free, we do not provide any financial help for the volunteer and they are responsible for paying their own way, including flight, accommodation, food, travel etc. We will be able to supply examples of possible costs while volunteering.

Confirmation of Volunteer Placement.

We can only confirm placements if a valid police check has been submitted and that the volunteer has definite dates and can commit to the travel schedule. Please help us with all of these and it will provide a good service to volunteers and the people out in India alike.
